Shopping for gifts in Brooklyn this season? Support local artisans and awesome brick & mortars in our region by visiting these craft sales and bazaars for your gift shopping needs. Most of them are serving hot drinks on-site and every one of them will have creative, inspiring wares to browse.

 Brooklyn Night Bazaar

When: Nov. 23 – Dec. 22, Every Friday and Saturday Night 6PM – 12AM

Where: 45 N. 5th Street, Williamsburg

What: Inspired by night markets across Asia, this bazaar combines independent labels and artisans, musicians, designers, artists, and breweries into outdoor and indoor spaces for the enjoyment of all. Live music, good food, and holiday shopping all in one place. How awesome is that?

 Brooklyn Flea Presents GIFTED: A Holiday Market

When: November 24/25 – December 22/23, 10AM – 6PM.

Where: Skylight One Hanson (former Williamsburg Savings Bank), 1 Hanson Place, Fort Greene, Brooklyn.

What: 100+ vendors on 3 floors selling the cutest and coolest vintage, handmade, art, and foodstuffs for perfect presents and holiday-party additions. Warm drinks served so you can stay toasty while you shop.

 Greenpointers Holiday Market

** Bonus! I’ll be there on behalf of Hey Mishka, selling festive decor & gifts. 

When: Saturday December 8th, 12PM – 6PM.

Where: From The Source. 69 West St, Greenpoint Brooklyn.

What: The 2nd annual Greenpoint Holiday Market features a DIY photobooth, gift wrapping station, bar with festive holiday drinks, and tons of awesome local vendors selling everything from food to vintage to crafts and decor.

 Black Saturday Holiday Market

When: Saturday, November 24th, 12PM – 7PM.

Where: The Brick. 579 Metropolitan Avenue, Brooklyn

What: The Brick Theater presents its first ever Holiday market, featuring local designers and artists, face painting, vintage, gifts, and more.

 Artists & Fleas Brooklyn Holiday Bazaar

When: Saturdays & Sundays, 10AM – 7PM (year round).

Where: 70 North 7th Street between Kent & Wythe Avenues, Williamsburg.

What: This weekly weekend market is many things to many people. It’s an indie fashion and vintage bazaar, a hipster hang-out and fixture in the Williamsburg neighborhood, and a home to the thriving community of countless designers, creators, vintage collectors and foodie enthusiasts that have passed through since 2003.

 Brooklyn Craft Central Annual Holiday Market

When: December 15/16 & 22/23, 11AM – 5PM.

Where: Littlefield Art Space. 622 Degraw St, Park Slope, Brooklyn.

What: The Brooklyn Craft Central’s 5th annual holiday market features vendors specializing in home goods, DIY gifts, jewelry, sweets, and more. They’ll be serving drinks like the Hot Glue (coffee & Kahlua) and the Woolly Knit (hot cider with bourbon).

 Degenerate Craft Fair

When: December 15th, 12PM – 9PM. Opening reception 6PM – 9PM; December 16th 11AM – 6PM.

Where: The Dumbo Loft, 155 Water Street, Brooklyn

What: A sort of anti-art fair, the Degenerate Craft Fair features over 50 artists, designers and their work. Just in time for holiday shopping, most of the items offered will cost less than $50. Free goodie bags to the first 50 visitors!

 Brooklyn Friends School Winter Festival & Artisan Craft Fair

When: Saturday, December 1st, 10:30AM – 5:00PM

Where: 375 Pearl Street, Brooklyn

What:  Benefiting Horizons at Brooklyn Friends School and PAT programming, it’s a family day of fun not only for the BFS Community but for the general public as well. 40 fantastic vendors, a holiday plant sale, arts & crafts activities and more.

Lastly, not in Brooklyn, but worth mentioning…

  BUST Magazine Craftacular & Food Fair

When: Saturday, 12/1 & Sunday 12/2, 11AM – 7PM

Where: 82 Mercer St., SoHo NYC

What: More than 200 vendors in this 2-day holiday shopping extravaganza. Shop handmade gifts and amazing food, and craft beer while enjoying DJs and raffle prizes. 300 goodie bags to the first early bird shoppers! Admission is $3.
