Scrabble in Siberia (kidding, still in Brooklyn)

January 17, 2011

My brother and his girlfriend, who came outfitted in a shirt featuring a screen print face-morph of Chuck Close and Chucky Cheese, spent the past few days in the city with me. It was a lovely visit! They brought me a beautiful set of cocktail rings and we danced, drank champagne, trudged through the freezing snow, and played endless games of scrabble. Boooy, do I wish they would move to Brooklyn.

Balkan disco, lilac nails, recovered off-white winter coat, naps, family, instant chai latte, chocolate plaid, holiday cards just discovered… A lovely beginning to 2011.

      Hahaha. Well, we’re dirt poor not-hipsters who live in brooklyn! But yes we are selling the shirts! After I tweeted about it a lot of random people asked to buy them, so when my bro gets back to San Fran him and his ladybird are going to rig up an assembly line and make a bunch. I’ll post up the info here when they’re ready. :}
