The preview of Thom Browne spring 2011 collection on the Jak and Jil blog jump-started my holiday excitement yesterday, and instantly summoned the warm imagery of champagne toasts and pretty dresses that are so easily associated with December. And that’s all she wrote—I’ve officially fallen face first into holiday mode!

Rainy day in the city today—the drizzling began last night/this morning as I was strolling home at 4AM from a creative meeting of the minds with an old friend.
