Postcards from home

January 19, 2010

“Home” is an interesting concept, isn’t it? It could be wherever you grew up, if you had a strong home base. It could be wherever your closest friends are, or wherever you’ve carved out a space for yourself. Home could be a traveling caravan, a stark apartment with nothing on the walls, or a cozy harem-esque space where you lounge all day. A commune, a hostel, a tree house… wherever you hang all of your many hats.

Maybe the most important thing is to cultivate a sense of home within yourself, so you don’t end up lost if the randomness of the universe suddenly takes your home away. Food for thought.
