Backstage, I got a close-up glimpse of the garments before they were bagged and hauled out. I ran into some friends working as dressers in the minuscule room that lead to a massive banquet hall of a makeup room.
I spotted Waris Ahluwalia and decided to pop over and ask him a few questions. I hadn’t prepared anything, so all that came to mind were to ask him what he had for breakfast. He said, “a smoothie!” with a smile on his face.
